Welcome back! This installment has three products that I’ve been using for the last 1-4 months and can’t get enough of them. Covering all the bases from head to toe with this one!
Aveda Shampure Body Lotion: Easily my favorite lotion to date! The scent is so “real” you can tell they haven’t filled the bottle with perfumes and dyes. This lotion goes on smooth, doesn’t feel oily or sticky, and dries quickly. I found it at a local spa (Grand Senses in Charlottetown) but you can also shop online. It’s a bit pricey ($36) but I got it on sale so that helped! Definitely worth the money considering how great my skin feels after using it.
Pure Epsom Salt: You may have seen or heard rave reviews for the benefits of bathing with these salts. I ignored them until after the marathon I ran. My massage therapist recommended them, so I picked up a bag ($10.00) and ran the water.
After 20 minutes of soaking I didn’t want to get out of the bath! The scent was calming and my skin felt really smooth afterward. This will now be a weekly regime after my runs because my legs felt super from doing this.
Batiste Dry Shampoo: If you are a regular gym-goer, or simply don’t want to spend oodles of time washing your hair three times a week, dry shampoo should be your jam! I’ve tried many brands and this is in my top three. It dries quick and is tinted with dark color
so it doesn’t dry a white shade on my black hair.
There are different variations from this brand for light colored hair as well. It can be found at most grocery stores, Winners/Homesense, and Shopper’s Drug Mart. For $6.00-$8.00 it’s a worth while investment!
I’m thinking the third installment will focus on sports nutrition products, so stay tuned!
Have a product suggestion? Let me know! I love trying new things, and if it’s really good, I’ll include it in a W.I.L.L!
