I have no shame in being “basic,” especially when it comes to meal time.
This recipe is so simple I can’t imagine how one could complicate it..and check out how delicious these look!
Protein pancakes are possibly my most favorite breakfast..especially as a pre-workout meal. Simply altering the type of milk and flavor of protein gives you tons of options at your fingertips!
For these, I used Cellucor- Molten Chocolate protein powder, and it made my mixture pretty thick. Add as much liquid as you prefer, the recipe amounts are simply guidelines.
Basic Protein Pancakes: Chocolate
1/4 Cup Oat Flour (30g)
1/2 Scoop Protein of Choice
1 TB Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Egg Whites
1/4 Almond Milk
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Heat your non-stick pan on low/medium
Pour batter evenly into pan and flip after 2-3 minutes.
Top with syrup, nut butter, yogurt, etc. Enjoy!
