Very Berry Biscones

Before we get into it, let me explain why these are titled “Biscones.”

It’s simple really, they aren’t biscuits and they aren’t scones, they are a combination of the two! Genius, I know ๐Ÿ˜‰

Aside from being delicious, the almond flour makes these moist, the berries add a welcome sweetness, and coconut oil just tops them off (literally!)

So simple and satisfying, these are low fat (about 6 grams per one), and don’t require any additional toppings.

Just get a great cup of tea or coffee and relax ๐Ÿ™‚

Very Berry Biscones

1 3/4 Cup Oat Flour

1/2 Cup Almond Flour

1/2 Cup Stevia

1 TB Baking Powder

1 Cup Almond Milk

1/2 Cup Blueberries

1/3 Cup Dried Cranberries

1/2 TB Coconut Oil, melted

1/2TB Sugar (I used organic cane sugar)

Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mixย dry ingredients in bowl and add milk, stirring just until combined.

Add berries and stir until mixed well (the batter will be thick and sticky!)

Drop by 1/4 cup onto baking sheet ( I made 9 total).

Melt your coconut oil and brush over the top of each biscone.

Finish them off by sprinkling your sugar over each one.

Bake for 20 minutes, remove from pan and let cool..

(or don’t…they are that good!)
